The Hunt for Morels
At anywhere from $50-$80 a pound, the hunt for Morels becomes an obsession for many people. The window of time to find them is very narrow and where they are located is a well- kept secret. Even under oath, you would be hard pressed to share their location.
Recipe

In addition to cooking morels fresh you can preserve them for future recipes
Take your morels and soak them in a gentle salt water solution that will cleanse them
Then rinse, after take your rinsed morels and cut them in half before lightly patting them dry. lightly flour the halved morels before placing on a tray to freeze. once frozen they are easy to separate and store in freezer bag. When you remove them from the freezer fry them frozen without defrosting them.
Now you have morels all year round.
