Limoncello is quite simply, just an amazing after dinner drink.  It can be considered a palette cleanser, or a liquid dessert.  As a family we've enjoyed it in various forms, even creating other dishes like Limon Granita and Limoncello Tiramisu with which to share with friends and family.
